Alice Wisda Obituary
Alice E. Wisda, 96, of Findlay and formerly of Deshler, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024, at Bridge Hospice Care Center.
Alice was born Aug. 2, 1927, in Deshler, to Orla and Juanita (Werner) Freeman. She graduated from Defiance High School. Alice married Felix Wisda on April 12, 1947, and he is deceased. She retired from Libby Canning Plant.
Those left behind to cherish Alice's memory are her son, Nick (Diane) Wisda of Nevada, Ohio; grandchildren, Jaylee Manley, Andrew (Amanda) Wisda, Robert (Rochelle) Manley, Emily (Scott) Clark, and Stacy Wisda; and nine great-grandchildren.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Ellen Manley; son-in-law, Thomas Manley; sister, Betty Harmon; and brother, Howard "Dick" Freeman.
Alice was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing cards, camping, fishing, and traveling. But most of all, she loved having family near her.
Visitation for friends and family will be 3-5 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2024, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, 419-422-1500. Burial will be later at St. Michael Cemetery.
