Stephen E. Beach

Stephen E. Beach, 78, of Arlington, passed away in the early morning hours of Friday, February 20, 2026, at Birchaven Village.

He was born to Elmer and Majorie (Wickiser) Beach in Kenton, January 14, 1948.

Stephen was a graduate of Arlington Local High School, class of 1966. He served his country with honor in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Stephen spent his working years employed with Hardin County Job and Family Services. He was a member of Good Hope Lutheran Church in Arlington, where he was baptized and confirmed.

Stephen found joy in listening to music, following harness racing, and spending time with the cats he loved throughout his life. He was a big fan of the Cincinnati Reds.

He is survived by his companion, Paula Heiberger of Arlington; his niece, Jacqueline Beach of North Ridgeville; and his brother, Norman (Cynthia) Beach of Arlington.

Stephen was preceded in death by both his parents.

Friends and family may visit from 10-11 a.m. Friday, February 27, 2026, at Good Hope Lutheran Church, 300 S. Main St., Arlington. Stephen's memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. at the church with Pastor Steve Ramsey officiating. Interment will be private.

Memorial contribu-tions in Stephen's memory can be made to Good Hope Lutheran Church or Hancock County Veterans Services.
