Jeannette Burkert Obituary

Jeannette Burkert

We are saddened to announce the death of Jeannette Burkert on February 20, 2026. Jeannette lived a full life and passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, in the home she shared with her beloved husband Gary, who passed away in 2021. Jeannette retired from Findlay Industries in 2010. After retiring, she returned to school and received her degree in Early Childhood Education. Jeannette was married to Jerry Isbell from 1973-1983 and they had two beautiful children. Jeannette is survived by her children, Kellie Lentz and William (Bill) Isbell; grandchildren, Brittney Lentz, Nisreen Isbell, Wynter Isbell, and Jaycee Lentz; siblings, Blanche (Dennis) Stach, Jimmy (Nancy), and Evelyn Jones. She is also survived by her "bonus daughters", Rechelle, Sheila, and Jen. Jeannette is preceded in death by her mother, Blanche Burkert, and husband, Gary Reed. Jeannette loved spending time with her family in Pennsylvania. She also loved taking her family to the lake to watch fireworks for the 4th of July, her favorite holiday. Jeannette was always quick to help someone in need, and her spunky attitude and generous spirit made everyone adore her. She will be so deeply missed. Like her mother and dear husband, Jeannette has chosen to donate her body to science at the University of Toledo Medical Center and her family will plan a graveside service at a later date.
