John Paul Gutierrez

John Paul Gutierrez, 76, of Ada, died Thursday, February 19, 2026, after a battle with a long illness.

He was born in Mexico, June 29, 1949, to the late John Sr. & Semoina (Garcia) Gutierrez. He married Patricia Kline, February 15, 1986, and they celebrated 49 years of marriage together. She survives.

John is also survived by his children, Alisha and Michael Greer, Tabatha, Louis, Larry Jr., and Diane Greer, Craig and Tammy Greer, Brian and Darlene Greer; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews; brothers, Raymon Calif, and John D Calif; sisters, Martha and Esther Calif.

He was preceded in death by Petro and Jessie.

John was a Christian man, and a loving husband and father. He enjoyed working, especially outside in his yard. His hobbies were yard work and going to the thrift store. He also loved his Mexican music. John would help anyone who needed it, and he was a very good man.

Service will be at a later date. COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, is assisting family with arrangements.
