Frank A Guglielmi
Frank A. Guglielmi, 74, of Findlay, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2026, surrounded by his family and friends, leaving a legacy as expansive as the lives he touched through his many acts of kindness and generosity.
A proud Upper Arlington Golden Bear ('69) and graduate of The Ohio State University, Frank fell in love with his wife, Annett "Nan" Hollington, while teaching her guitar lessons. They settled in Findlay, becoming an integral part of a community they helped shape.
Frank drove economic strategies that transformed Ohio, notably as a member of the State's 1980s delegation to Japan, which laid the foundation for the strong manufacturing relationship between Japan and Ohio. He was a founder of Tall Timbers Industrial Park and a leader at Ohio Bank, eventually extending his influence to state leadership as Chairman of the Development Finance Advisory Council and a member of the BWC Board. Frank's power was in his handshake; cultivating partnerships to steer critical initiatives and proving relationships are the ultimate tool for change. An Ohio Commodore, the highest honor the Governor of Ohio can bestow upon a civilian for outstanding contributions to the State's economic development, as well as a dedicated supporter of a number of nonprofit organizations through his family foundation, his motivation was always the betterment of those around him.
If you knew Frank, you knew his love of a sunset cruise on his boat "Isle Be There." The name was a manifesto. It served as a constant reminder that Frank always showed up - for his friends, his community, and most importantly, his family. Whether at the lake, on the golf course, playing his guitar, hunting in the woods, or sharing a glass of good wine, Frank was happiest when surrounded by the people he loved.
Frank was a true "pillar"-a man of unwavering faith, a strong family man, and a community leader. He faced challenges with grace, humility, and a wicked sense of humor. While he held many titles, Frank's favorite roles were husband, father, and grandfather.
Frank moved mountains not to show his strength, but to give the rest of us a better view. His legacy will not be found in the concrete of an industrial park, but the vast and beautiful wake he leaves behind him-a powerful current of generosity, love, and leadership that will carry his family and community forward for generations.
Frank is preceded in death by his wife, Annett Hollington; his loving son, Andrew Guglielmi; his granddaughter, Ava Guglielmi; his parents, Frank and Mary Guglielmi; and his brother, Gary Guglielmi.
He is survived by his loving children, Christopher (Elizabeth) Guglielmi of Hudson, Annett Guglielmi (Christopher) Riehl of Upper Arlington, and Phillip (Erin) Guglielmi of Nashville, Tennessee. He leaves behind nine adoring grandchildren, many loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and many, many friends.
Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. Friday, February 27, 2026, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. A private family burial will be Saturday, at Maple Grove Cemetery.
