Lawrence "Larry" Hohman

Lawrence Hohman, 76, beloved son, father, brother, and uncle, was called to his eternal resting place Monday, February 16, 2026. He entered this world May 8, 1949, in Tiffin, born to Hank and Estella Hohman. He is survived by his son, Cody Hohman; daughter, Lindsey Hohman; sister, Carolyn (Gerald) Schaffert; niece, Lori Schaffert; niece, Lisa Schaffert; nephew, Todd Schaffert; and long-time girlfriend, Alice Alonso; her daughters, Angela Romero and Dianne( Troy) Wiley; her son, Mark Romero, three grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father, Hank Hohman; mother, Estella Hohman; brother, Donald Hohman; and sister, Erma Hohman.

He served in the Army from 1969-1971, completed a tour in Vietnam from 1969-1970, where he earned four medals, including a Bronze Star.

Larry loved spending time with his family, traveling, gardening, watching sports, and doing anything outdoors, such as birdwatching, walks in the park, cooking on the grill, or relaxing on the patio. He played the bass guitar in a local band in the '70s and '80s. He had a love for old sports cars.

His greatest achievement was raising his children. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

At Larry's request, no services will take place at this time. Hanneman Funeral Home, Findlay, has been entrusted with Larry's care.
