Johnny Smith Obituary
Johnny Allen Smith, 63, of Jenera, met his Lord and Savior on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2023, with his loving wife beside him.
He was born July 22, 1960, in Findlay, to James and Joanne (Orwick) Smith.
Johnny was a Liberty-Benton High School graduate. After high school, Johnny studied diesel mechanics at UNOH in Lima. As a diesel mechanic, he dedicated numerous years of his life to the industry, working diligently for esteemed employers such as Mac and Bob's in Findlay, Hyway Trucking in Findlay, and Beaverdam Fleet Services. Johnny enjoyed collecting Findlay Glass and antique bottles. He especially loved his cats. Can't save them all but he tried!
Johnny leaves behind his loving wife, Candy; daughter, Amy Smith; son, Matthew Smith; five grandchildren; stepson, Michael Sallay; two sisters, Connie Champion and Bonnie Stalls; and brothers, Jeff, Terry, and Jimmy Smith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Tammy Shephard.
Visitation for family and friends will be 12 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, 2023, until the time of Johnny's funeral at 2 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, 419-422-1500. Pastor James Irven will preside.
Memorial contributions in Johnny's name can be made to Wyandot County Humane Society, 9640 Co Hwy 330, Upper Sandusky, Ohio, 43351.
