Kelly A. Frankart

Kelly A. Frankart, 63, of Vanlue, formerly of Fostoria, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, surrounded by her family.

She was born June 12, 1962, in Kingstown, Rhode Island, to the late Donald and Nancy (Driggs) Yontz. She married Dale A. Frankart, April 8, 1988, at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, and he survives in Vanlue.

Also surviving are four children, Matt (Megan) Frankart, David (fiancé Shelby) Frankart, Andrew (Trisha) Frankart and Kaitlin (Terri) Mallery; seven grandchildren, Claire, Maverick, Delilah, Avery, Garett, Ellington and Emory; and two sisters, Kerry Lee and Kristi Bowen.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Daniel Yontz.

Kelly owned Heritage Springs Campground in Vanlue with her husband, Dale. She enjoyed playing shuffleboard and was a huge Ohio State Buckeye fan. Kelly was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who valued family over all else. She enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren, bragging, and showing pictures of them.

You could often find her spending time at their family-owned campground around a fire pit or in the PPP. You could always tell where Kelly was, because that's where everyone else congregated. She was always the life of the party. "Let me out, I'm stuck in your pocket" was her favorite ringtone that would ring often and loudly, letting you know she was nearby.

She will be greatly missed by her family and those who loved her.

Visitation is 2-6 p.m. Monday, April 6, 2026, at HOENING & SON FUNERAL HOME, 133 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, Ohio 44830, where her funeral service will take place at 6 p.m. with the Rev. Nicholas Weibl presiding.
