William Harden Obituary

William "Bill" Harden

William "Bill" Harden, 72, of Lima, passed away Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022.

Bill was born Sept. 23, 1950, in Bluffton, to the late Federick Paul "Pete" and Charlotte (Brumbaugh) Harden.

Bill is survived by his children, Charlene (Steve) Contris of Gadsden, Alabama, Jason (Amy) Harden of West Chester, Ohio, and Ryan (Nicole) Harden of Milan, Michigan; grandchildren, Zach, Jayma, Marah, Cole, Austin, Oscar, Arlo, and Joshua; great-grandson, Kace; and siblings, John (Debbie) Harden and LuAnn (Craig) Vanek.

Bill was a 1969 graduate of McComb High School. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was a member of American Legion Post 96 in Lima. Bill also enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren's extracurricular activities.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022, until the time of Bill's celebration of life service at 3 p.m. at Hanneman Funeral Home, 370 Park Dr. S., McComb, Ohio, 45858, with Pastor Rick Broughton officiating. Inurnment will be private at McComb Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bill's honor to American Cancer Society or James Cancer Hospital in care of The Ohio State University Foundation, 14 E. 15th St., Columbus, Ohio, 43201.
