Walter Shindeldecker Obituary
Walter E. "Butch" Shindeldecker, 76, of Findlay, died at 5:31 p.m., Friday, March 7, 2025, at Brookdale Senior Living, Findlay. He was born January 7, 1949, in Lima to the late Walter D. and Audrey (Suttler) Shindeldecker. He was married to Jean (Maitland) Shindeldecker for 32 years, and they were divorced.
Walter is survived by his son, Charlie (Jennifer) Shindeldecker, of Findlay; sisters, Marie Trytko of Findlay and Pam (Tom) Herzan of Scottsdale, Arizona; grandchildren, Ryan, Kelsey and Emma Shindeldecker.
Walter was a 1967 graduate of Findlay High School. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran having served our country for nine years. Walter retired from Ball Metal in Findlay.
The family would like to give special thanks to everyone at Brookdale Senior Living and Care360 Hospice.
A visitation will be from 10-12 p.m. immediately followed by funeral service at 12 p.m., Saturday, March 15, 2025, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, with Pastor Ben Jennings officiating. Burial will be at Trinity Baptist Cemetery, Findlay.
Memorial contribu-tions may be made to National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Online condolences may be expressed at www.coldrencrates.com
