Sue Zeltner Obituary

Sue A. Zeltner

Sue Ann Zeltner, 65, of North Baltimore, passed away Tuesday morning, January 27, 2026, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo.

She was born in Wood County, Ohio, to Don and Betty (Zernhel) Zeltner. She was raised in the country, where she learned to raise horses and cattle, which she showed at the local county fair. This instilled in her a love for rural life and animals of all kinds, but always horses. Sue graduated from North Baltimore High School and attended Bowling Green State University. She worked briefly as an intern at Wood County Hospital and received her medical billing certification. Sue than went to work at D.S. Brown Company of North Baltimore. She remained there for nearly 45 years and was looking forward to retirement this spring.

Sue is survived by a brother, Jerry (Jami) Zeltner.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her aunts and uncles, Ida JoAnn & Roy Abbott; Herman "Dan" & Betty Zernhel and John "Jiggs" & Edna Zernhel.

Sue will be laid to rest in a private graveside service at Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler.

Memorials in her memory are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
