I am so sorry I missed coming to the funeral home. I hate not having a newspaper. Linda and steve, I am so sorry to hear about your dad's passing. Mr K was in our family for a long time, as a teacher and a family friend. There was a lot of homemade ice cream passed around at our house :-) my condolences to you and your families.

Mr. Kondik changed my life by giving me the confidence in my musicianship. He even started special music theory classes my senior year (Woodmore 1970) knowing a few of us wanted to major in music. He was a caring and inspiring teacher who will always have a major role in my memories. A truly good man!

Had Mr. Kondik at Woodmore back in the 1970s. Well caring man who made me a better drummer and a better person. He was a person who believed in you until you believed in yourself. He will be greatly missed.

So many past students have reached out whether from Woodmore, Findlay, North Baltimore, and more. Here are a few photos students may recall.

Had Mr. Klondike as a educator at Woodmore in the 1970s. Served as band manager for him. He was always fun and willing to let his students enjoy themselves and the music they made together. Meet him years later when my children where in band competition. He will be greatly missed.

Known to me as Mr. Kondik, he was my band director at NBHS during my years there in high school band. What a great teacher and person. I remember he and Mary were together all the time with two little kids. I am sure that he is directing a band in heaven.
