Patricia Wilcox Obituary
Patricia (Ricksecker) "Meena" Wilcox, 64, of Advance, North Carolina, and previously of Findlay, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2023, at a family home surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with leukemia.
Patricia was born in Findlay to James and Bonnie (Beckman) Ricksecker. She graduated from Liberty-Benton High School and later moved to Winston Salem, North Carolina, where she worked for Pepsi Cola for 23 years.
Patricia is survived by her children, Amy (Octavio) Calixto of Advance, North Carolina, Scott (Samantha) Wilcox of Shapleigh, Maine, and Sarah Curtis of Upper Sandusky; grandchildren, Brianna Jennings, Eric "Brian" Guerrero (Emily), Sandy Calixto, Jyquon Gainey, Regan Jennings, Kingston Gainey, Katlyn Perkins, Lillian Thompson, Caleb Perkins, and Ryleigh Wilcox; great-grandchildren, Scarlet, Liam, Yishai, Julian, and Izel; mother, Bonnie Ricksecker of Findlay; and siblings, Larry (Jean) Ricksecker of Columbus, Diana (Randy) Quate of Findlay, Michael (Cindy) Mann of Pinnacle, North Carolina, and Leslie Garee of Galion.
Patricia was preceded in death by her father.
A special thank you goes out to Patricia's sister, Diana, for being the best caregiver one could have. Thank you for your love and compassion, patience, time, and being the glue we needed. Patricia's wishes were to be cremated.
A celebration of life open house will for family and friends living in this area will be 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, 2023, at the home of Diana Quate in Findlay.
