Linda Waisanen Obituary
Linda Waisanen, 73, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.
She was born June 11, 1950, in Lima, the daughter of Harley and Estelle (Bogart) Augsburger. She married John "Jack" Waisanen, the love of her life, on Feb. 8, 1980, and he survives in Bluffton.
In addition to her husband of 44 years, Linda is survived by her son, Ben Burry of Holland, Michigan; granddaughter, Caitlyn Stankey of Grand Haven, Michigan; great-grandson, Jude Stankey; six brothers, Dean (Judy) Augsburger, Bruce (Keith Johnson) Augsburger, Steve Kaufman, Dan (Joyce) Gunn, Robin Bender, and Bob (Helen Bowden) Neitz; two sisters, Mona (Chuck) Shipley and Kandi (Tim) Guffey; sister-in-law, Rose Neitz; and cat, Elf.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Tracy Blom; grandson, Sage Blom; and brother, Rick Neitz.
Linda worked in the insurance industry for 28 years before she retired in 2019.
Linda's celebration of life will be 2-4 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 2024.
