Linda Ewing Obituary

Linda S. Ewing

Linda S. Ewing, 77, of Findlay, passed away Friday, Oct. 20, 2023, at Blanchard Valley Hospital.

She was born Nov. 22, 1945, in McComb, the daughter of James and Catherine (Welty) Hilty. She married Michael Ewing and he preceded her in death.

Linda's survivors include her son, Tim Ewing of Findlay; brother, Tom Hilty of Michigan; sister, Brenda (Joe) Dillinger of Leipsic; and granddaughter, Megan Ewing of Findlay.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Michelle Ewing.

Linda was a member of Van Buren United Methodist Church and enjoyed traveling. She also volunteered and was on the board at the Chopin Hall. She worked at Winebrenner Theological Seminary as a librarian and was a director at the Ottawa Library where she retired after many years.

Linda's graveside memorial service will be 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, 2023, at Bechtel Cemetery, Van Buren, with Pastor Kelly Sterling officiating.

Memorial contributions may be directed towards Hancock County Public Library.
