Fred R. Aller

Fred R. Aller, 70, of Tipp City, passed away Monday, Aug. 29, 2022 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.

Fred was born Sept. 10, 1951, in Findlay, to the late D. Nelson and Dorothy (McDougle) Aller. He married the love of his life, Janet Warren, on June 3, 1972, in Findlay, and she survives in Tipp City.

Also surviving are his loving grandchildren, Sydney, Caleb, and Hannah Aller; brothers, Edwin Aller, Ralph (Nadine) Aller, and David (Marty) Aller, all of McComb; daughter-in-law, Kristin Aller; sister-in-law, Nedra Aller; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Diane Warren; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Brian Aller; and siblings, William and Gerald Aller, Loretta Higgins, and Kathryn Aller.

Fred was a 1969 graduate of McComb High School and proudly served his country in U.S. Air Force, retiring after 25 years of service. Fred received his Bachelors in Engineering from Arizona State University and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Tipp City. Fred enjoyed fishing, wood carving, and playing a good game of pinochle and euchre. Fred was an avid Cincinnati Bengals fan. Fred had a heart of gold. He was a caring and compassionate individual who would help anyone in a time of need. But, most of all, Fred loved his family and cherished every moment he got to spend with them, especially his grandchildren who were his pride and joy.

Visitation for Fred will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2022, until the time of his celebration of life at 1 p.m. at Hanneman Funeral Home, 370 Park Dr. S., McComb, 45858, with Pastor Dale Schaefer officiating. Interment with follow at McComb Union Cemetery with military honors by United States Air Force and Hancock County Memorial Squad.
