Gene was the consummate professional salesman and friend. He took me under his wing when I first started in the car business and greatly influenced my career. I'm so very thankful to have had the privilege to have known him. Melanie and I will be praying for his family and may the fond memories of Gene grow sweeter as time passes. He will be sadly missed.

Gene and Donna were like second family. They were on my paper route and one memory is during the winter collecting for the paper, Donna gave me an ice cream bar. Used to swim in their pool.
