Dorothy Heldman Obituary
Dorothy Y. Heldman, 63, of Findlay, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2024, at Blanchard Valley Hospital.
She was born Oct. 7, 1960, in Findlay, to Roy and Helen (Snyder) Hartley. Dorothy married David A. Heldman and he preceded her in death in 2012.
Dorothy enjoyed working on her arts and crafts projects. Her greatest joy, however, came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Dorothy is survived by two sons, Steven (Amanda) Heldman and Christopher Heldman; 11 grandchildren, Riley, Zoe, Peyton, Caleb, Zyler, and Huntley Heldman, and Noah, Miley, Kaidyn, and Zoey Poe; five siblings, Dave (Vickey) Hartley, Ron (Judy) Hartley, Irene (Pat) Sterling, Alan (Rindy) Hartley, and Sirena (Dave) Daniels; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Helen; husband, David; son, Joshua; daughter, Tabitha; brothers, Don and Walt Hartley; and mother and father-in-law.
Visitation for friends and family will be 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2024, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, 419-422-1500. Dorothy's funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, 2024, at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Klausing presiding. Dorothy will be laid to rest beside her husband at Maple Grove Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Dorothy's name may be made to the family in care of Hufford Family Funeral Home.
