Joleen Peters Obituary
Joleen R. Peters, 85, of Findlay, died at 3:37 a.m. Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. She was born June 22, 1940, in McComb, to the late Leslie and H. Doris (Musgrave) Shank. She married W. Dennis Peters, and he preceded her in death.
Joleen is survived by her sons, Eric (Roxanne) Peters of Findlay and Todd Peters of Findlay; daughters, Teresa Spence of Findlay, Kim (Tadd) Baney of Bluffton, and Deena Smith of Findlay; 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Nick (Carla of Findlay) Peters; brother, Jim Shank; and sister, Joy (George-deceased) Brown.
Jolene was a homemaker who had an infectious laugh and kindness to offer everyone.
A funeral service will be at 3 p.m., Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, where visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be private.
Memorial contribu-tions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
