Cheryl Ann Lewis

Cheryl Ann (Chapman) Lewis, 69, of McComb, passed away Thursday, Nov. 28, 2024, at The James Center in Columbus. She was born May 9, 1955, in North Baltimore to the late George and Jeanne (Curson) Chapman. She married the love of her life, Carl E. Lewis, Aug. 16, 1980, and they have been holding hands together ever since.

Cheryl is survived by her husband; her sons, Michael Lewis of McComb and Ty Lewis of Findlay; her siblings, George W. Chapman of Nice, California, Robert J. Chapman, of Waterville, Gloria J. (Gary) Schoenborn of Hanford, California, Margaret R. (Ron) Bean, of North Baltimore and Melissa R. (Will) Chapman, of Fostoria; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Cheryl was preceded in death by her sister, Karen S. (Jerry) Parker of Broomfield, Colorado.

Cheryl is a 1973 graduate of North Baltimore High School. She worked alongside her husband at Norbalt Rubber for 35 years until they closed, and retired May 1, 2020, with her husband hand-in-hand, from Hearthside Food Solutions in McComb. Cheryl loved gardening and spending time with her family in her spare time.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2024, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, 205 W. Sandusky Street, Findlay, Ohio, 45840.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Cheryl's memory may be shared with the donor's charity of choice.
