Carolyn Tietje Obituary
Carolyn Jean Tietje, 81, of McComb, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2023, at Bridge Hospice Care Center.
Carolyn was born March 11, 1942, in Findlay, to George and Bernice (Williams) Oldham. She married John William Voland and he preceded her in death in 1984. She then married Vernon Tietje and he preceded her in death in 2018.
Carolyn is survived by her children, Sherry Cooper of McComb and Laurie Voland of Columbus, Leesa (Neil) Gerber, Julie Ryan and Scott Tietje, and Brian (Debbie) Tietje; grandchildren, Nick, Mikaela, Kadynce, Camden, and Chase; and daughter-in-law, Veronica Voland.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, John "Mike" Voland; and brother, Kenny Oldham.
Carolyn was avid crocheter and doing adult coloring books. She was a lover of all animals, but especially dogs and her buddy, Magnum. Carolyn also enjoyed traveling, especially to Amish Country, Smokey Mountains, and Lake Erie. She was a kind-hearted, loving, and caring individual who especially cherished the time she spent with her family.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. Saturday, July 1, 2023, until the time of Carolyn's celebration of life service at 10:30 a.m. at Hanneman Funeral Home, 370 Park Dr S., McComb, Ohio, 45858. Interment will follow at Knollcrest Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Carolyn's honor to American Cancer Society or Bridge Hospice.

Many many warm memories of Jeanie in the early 1960s! and finding her again in the last couple of years on Facebook where she often shared delicious recipes was a wonderful testament to her love of life. May she find eternal peace with our Savior.
