Brian D. Kisseberth
Brian Dean Kisseberth passed to his eternal home Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, surrounded by his family after a three-and-a-half-year-long battle battle with cancer.
Brian was born July 9, 1969, in Benton Ridge, to Carl Dean and Judy (Dysert) Kisseberth. He was a blessing from God, being the favorite middle child.
Brian retired in 2020 from Hancock County Engineers after 30 years of service. In 1988, he graduated from Liberty-Benton High School. He loved playing basketball for L-B and was exceptional at it. Just ask anyone. Kizzy was the BEST and very humble of his accomplishments.
He was a loving father of two wonderful boys. Brian was so proud of them and their accomplishments. They were always a topic of conversation. When asked about them, he just beamed with pride.
Brian was married to Kelly Sullivan (Kauffman) for over 11 years which produced his two wonderful boys, the heart and soul of him, Garrett Dean Kisseberth of
Dublin, Ohio, and Lance David Kisseberth of Ada.
Brian leaves behind his parents; favorite sister, Kimberly (Kisseberth) Bisignano (Michael); favorite baby brother, Scott Kisseberth (Kimberly); and many nieces and nephews.
A son, father, brother, uncle, and friend to many, he was so loved because he had such a big heart. He was a helper to anyone that asked. He loved serving his community, mowing for many, cleaning the church, and working at the village hardware.
Brian had a quiet faithfulness in Christ so it's only fitting we leave with…
1 Thessalonians 4:11-12
"Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life. You should mind your own business and work with your hands…so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders."
Brian had a quiet testimony, but he did seemingly small acts of service for others with dignity and respect and purpose.
Visitation for friends and family will be 5-8 p.m. Monday, June 10, 2024, and 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2024, until the time of Brian's funeral at 11 a.m., all at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, 419-422-1500. Pastor Richard Hiltibran will officiate. Interment will follow at Benton Ridge Cemetery.
Please feel free to honor Brian with your favorite Cory-Rawson or Pittsburgh Steelers gear. He was an avid fan of both organizations.
