Arthur Patterson Obituary
Arthur M. Patterson Jr. died Tuesday, November 18, 2025. He was born June 13, 1944, to Arthur and Mary (Eckert) Patterson. He married Diana Kromer Tatham, July 22, 1983, and they shared 42 years of marriage.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include son, Christian Patterson and stepchildren, Allen Tatham (Stephanie) and Julie Heldman (Darwin). Also surviving are sons and daughters from a previous marriage to Mary Wilkinson Patterson, sons, Art III (Tamera), Adam (Jen), Andy (Diana), and Aaron (Misty) Patterson; daughters, Monica Hartman, Di Patterson, and Lisa (Randy) Witlach. Also surviving are brothers, Gene (Deb) Patterson and Bill (Becky) Patterson and sister, Pat (Jerry) Stauffer.
Art graduated in 1962 from North Baltimore High School. He was a proud member of Zenobia Jeepsters and enjoyed driving his 1949 Jeepster in many parades benefiting Shriners Children's Hospital. He was a faithful member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church and North Baltimore Masonic Lodge No. 561. He enjoyed going up to the camper at the river and spending time with family and friends. His many grandchildren and great-grandchildren will miss him dearly.
Funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 6, 2025, at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore, with Pastor Megan Kerr officiating. Burial will be private.
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday, December 5, 2025, at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore, where a Masonic and Jeepsters service will begin at 7:30 p.m. and one hour prior to service from 10-11 a.m. Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children and/or a charity of the donor's choice.

My sincere condolences to the entire Patterson Family we will all miss Art in so many ways for me it's when he use to come out to McDonald's and I'd get him a senior coffee with one squirter of Carmel I'd bring it to him and thank me 3 or 4 times before I left and say " hey I like your hat !" Then he'd always ask me when my birthday is several times a week and in June the 2oth or thereabouts if I told him he'd get out his waller and give me a $2 bill......always seem to be happy and didn't get rattled very much
