Wynn Lee "Pooh" Preston

Wynn "Pooh" L. Preston, 77, of Findlay, passed away Monday, December 30, 2024, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. She was born June 21, 1947, in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, to the late Herbert Preston and Melda Baldridge Preston Fannin.

She was married to Jim Morrison, and they were divorced. She then married Henry Tom Scarbury and he preceded her in death.

Wynn's interests were NASCAR, camping, and occasionally visiting a local casino. She was previously a Sister of Hope, in the Rainbow Girls, and had volunteered with Bridge Home Health and Hospice. She was a member of the Moose Lodge No. 698, and AMVETS Post 21. She worked for Centrex Corporation for 32 years as a press operator and semi-truck driver. She retired as a supervisor. She then worked at Sanoh and, last but not least, Garden House, where she worked with individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Wynn is survived by her sisters, Mable McCullough of Findlay, Amber (Jon) Opperman of Findlay, and Leaf (Joe) Lewis of Kentucky; brothers, John (Lynn) Preston, Joey (Kristin) Preston, and Doug (Missy) Preston, all of Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sandra Sue Sheldon; brother, Tom Fannin; and stepfather, Thomas Fannin.

A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. Burial will be at Trinity Baptist Cemetery, Findlay.

Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday, January 6, 2025, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, and 1 hour (10-11 a.m.) prior to the service on Tuesday.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Moose Lodge No. 698 and/or AMVETS Post 21.
