Bill was a 37-year employee of National Machinery, Tiffin, where he was a member of the Quarter Century Club, retiring in 1999. He was a longtime farmer. Bill was a former member of Harmony United Methodist Church in rural Tiffin and current member of Grace Community Church in Fremont. Bill was a past member of Eden Grange, Odd Fellow Lodge, and played dart ball for the Grange and Melmore Church. Bill was a collector of antiques and brass tools and could be found most Saturdays at a local auction or flea market. Seneca County Fair was his summer highlight since childhood.
