Vicki Gierke Obituary
Vicki Lynn Gierke, 78, of Findlay, passed away in the early morning of Monday, January 26, 2025, at The Heritage of Findlay.
Vicki was born September 4, 1947, in Findlay, to the late Raymond and Lois (Powers) Karns. She graduated from Findlay High School in 1966. On December 10, 1966, she married Thomas "Tom" William Gierke, and they celebrated nearly 60 years of marriage. Tom survives in Findlay.
Vicki is also survived by her sons, Thomas (Tonya) Gierke Jr. and Michael Gierke; grandchildren, Marcus (Edyn) Gierke and Jeffrey (Kattie Iwanski) Gierke; and a great-granddaughter, Rosalynn Gierke.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Kathy Elling.
After graduation, Vicki worked at Blanchard Valley Hospital for over 25 years as a psychiatric technician.
Vicki loved spending time with her family. She was a light that gathered many around her. Her large extended family loved her and will miss her dearly.
The family will honor Vicki's wishes to be cremated and a private service will be at a later date. COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, is honored to assist with arrangements.
