Virginia Marie Fenimore

Virginia Marie Fenimore, 79, of Findlay, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2023, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.

She was born May 17, 1943, in Fostoria, the daughter of the late Clifford and Dorothy (Yost) Stewart. She married Donald Fenimore Sr. on Feb. 27, 1965, and he survives.

Virginia is also survived by her sons, Donald (Flo) Fenimore Jr. of Findlay, John (Kimberly) Fenimore of Findlay, Joseph (Jennifer) Fenimore of Van Buren, and Jay (Amanda) Fenimore of Van Buren; brothers, Edward Stewart and Daniel Stewart; sister, Christina Shaffer; grandchildren, Christopher, Corey, Collin, Alexander, Allyson, Samuel, and Oliver; and great-grandchildren, Payton, Jaxon, Triston, Monti, Corbin, Zoe, Henry, and Benjamin, AKA Mac-N-Cheese.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William "Toad" and James Stewart; and sister in infancy, Margaret Mary Stewart.

Virginia was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Findlay and its Alter Rosary Society, Blanchard Valley Hospital Auxiliary, Red Cross, and volunteering with Right to Life. Virginia enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family, being the silly grandma, and praising her Savior. She was a graduate of St. Wendelin High School in 1961. She was formerly employed at S.S. Kresge Company, Fostoria, Gray's Drugs Store, Sur Save Grocery Store, Sears, the sample lady at Brinkmans, and was the owner of Java Station.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, 2023, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, with a Rosary Service at 2 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, 2023, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Bright Road, with Father Peter Grodi officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
