Victoria "Vickie" Lanham
Victoria "Vickie" Theresa Lanham, 81, of Jerry City, passed away peacefully surrounded by family Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay. Born October 31, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan, she brought warmth and compassion into the lives of all who knew her.
Vickie was the daughter of Antonia and Oliver Burlingame and grew up alongside her brothers, Oliver Jr. and Paul Burlingame. Throughout her life, she remained deeply rooted in the values of kindness and generosity that she had learned as a child. She shared her unwavering faith in God freely and treasured the family she found at Trinity Baptist Church in Findlay.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, Vickie's greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Roy Lanham. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Theresa Sigler, Daniel Fish, Lisa (Tom) McLean, Yvonne (Anthony) Raby, Roy Joe (Kelly) Lanham Jr., Carrie (Larry) Boone, and Chris (Nikki) Lanham. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Lindsay (Stephen) Collins, Meagan (Mark Sutton) Parker, James (Ashley) Parker, Alexis (Brandon) Henson, Bryon Fish, Crystal (Kevin) Roeth, Roy Austin Lanham, Julie Lanham, Aralyn Lanham, Boden Lanham, Kennedy Lanham, Reagan Lanham, and Joseph Lanham; along with 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Vickie's zest for life was evident in everything she did. Time spent with her grandchildren brought her great happiness. Whether sharing stories or simply enjoying their company, those moments were treasures to her. But above all else, she loved to travel with her husband and delighted in exploring new places together.
Known for being kind-hearted and always willing to lend a hand to others in need, Vickie's presence was a source of comfort and strength to many. Her giving nature left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
She now joins her beloved parents, Antonia and Oliver Burlingame and brothers, Oliver Jr. and Paul Burlingame, in eternal rest.
The family would like to acknowledge and thank the wonderfully caring staff at Bridge Home Health & Hospice Findlay Care Center, especially Dr. Christian Jacobus.
