Vicki Grilliot Obituary
Vicki L. (Ramsey) Grilliot, 75, of Cygnet, passed away peacefully at ProMedica Toledo Hospital Saturday, June 28, 2025, surrounded by her family.
On June 2, 1968, Vicki married the love of her life, Robert C. Grilliot, and together they shared 46 years of marriage until his passing December 23, 2014.
Vicki is survived by her four children, Robert "Bobby" A. (Tammy) Grilliot of North Baltimore, Greg (Lisa) Grilliot of Cygnet, Carrie (Jim) Hingson of North Baltimore, and Megan (Alan) Hoffman of Cygnet. She was a proud grandmother to Kati, Brittany, Taylor, Rachael, Brandy, Bryan, Grace, Hayden, and Maddie; and was blessed with 12 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by seven sisters and three brothers.
Vicki was a 1968 graduate of Elmwood High School and then worked as a bus driver for North Baltimore Local Schools until her retirement. She found great joy in cooking for her family, hosting cookouts and pizza Fridays, and cherishing time with her children and grandchildren. Vicki will always be remembered for her welcoming nature, and as she would always say "the coffee is always on."
Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2025, at Barndt Funeral Home in Wayne. Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at the funeral home, with Mike Crawford officiating. Burial will take place at Jerry City Cemetery.
Memorial donations can be made to North Baltimore School Vicki Grilliot Scholarship Fund.
