James Iliff Obituary

James Lane Iliff

James Lane Iliff, 64, of Findlay, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Bridge Hospice facility in Findlay after a courageous three-year battle with pancreatic cancer.

Born May 13, 1961, in Findlay, Jim built a life defined by love, integrity, and steady dedication. He devoted more than 30 years to his career as a technician at Whirlpool, where he was known for his strong work ethic and reliability.

Jim was most passionate about his family and always made them a priority, no matter what life brought his way. He loved spending time outdoors, especially soaking up the sunshine. He enjoyed playing sports, watching movies, and staying active. Working out was one of his favorite pastimes and a source of strength throughout his life.

Jim was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sheri Iliff, with whom he shared a lifelong love story. Jim and Sheri had been together since they were kids, growing up side by side and forming a bond that only strengthened as the years passed. She was the love of his life, his partner, his best friend, and the one who walked with him through every season. Their connection was unwavering, and even after her passing, Jim carried her love with him each day. Now, we find comfort in knowing that Jim and Sheri are reunited once again, in the presence of their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Jim is also preceded in death by his parents, Don and Betty Jane Iliff. He is survived by his two children, Caleb and Josiah, whom he loved so much. He is also survived by his four siblings, Don, Roger, Cindy, and Ray, each of whom held a special place in his heart.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m.- 3 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2026, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, with a service to follow.

Memorial contribu-tions may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.

Online condolences may be expressed at www.coldrencrates.com

Jim will be remembered for his warm smile, his strength and determination, his friendliness, and his unwavering devotion to those he loved. His presence, love, and light will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Earlier today

Jim was a very strong Christian who loved the Lord with all of his heart and was very passionate about the Lord Jesus Christ. He shared the Scriptures with those who were hungry and would listen. I am sorry on this side of heaven for his passing but I know he is very much alive and rejoicing in the presence of God for all eternity. I believe that he and Sheri were greeted with "WELL DONE MY FAITHFUL SERVENTS "Cathy
