Tracy Lynn Plott
Tracy Lynn Plott, 54, of Carey, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2025, in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by her loving family.
Tracy was born on May 1, 1971, in Findlay, to John Wentling and Kathy Brooks. She married the love of her life, Thomas Plott, on April 6, 2024, and before that, they spent 16 years together, and he survives in Carey. Also surviving are her parents, John (Pam) Wentling and Kathy (Lewis) Lenhart; three sons who were her pride and joy, Holden (McKenna) Kemerley, Hayden Kemerley, and Landen Kemerley; siblings, Kip (Katie) Wentling, Amy (Tyler) Kline, Matthew (Laura) Wentling, Kristin (Daymond) Penwell, Carrie (Joe) Mattimoe, Jason Lenhart and Matthew (Misty) Lenhart; mother-in-law, Linda Plott; grandma, Barbara Moore; special aunt, Mel Taylor; and a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Hazel and Wendell Wentling, Pete and Margaret Brooks, and Ralph Moore; cousin, Evelyn Thomas; and her father-in-law, Thomas Plott.
Tracy was a 1989 graduate of Carey High School and a member of Parkview Assembly Church in Carey. Tracy loved traveling, especially to Myrtle Beach and Amish country. Tracy was a one-of-a-kind
individual; she had a very caring side to her. She was a very thoughtful individual; she always put others before herself and was always there to help anyone in time of need. Since 2003, Tracy has been a babysitter, becoming a second mother to many children in the Carey community. She was very strong-willed but could be soft-spoken at times. Tracy's three sons were her world. She always made it a point to be at their activities. Tracy had a heart of gold and will be deeply missed by those she knew and loved.
Visitation for Tracy will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday, June 16, 2025, at Stombaugh-Batton & Snyder Funeral Home, Carey. Tracy's Celebration of Life Service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Parkview Assembly of God, 777 W. Findlay St.,
Carey, Ohio 43316, with Pastor Phil Littlejohn officiating.
Memorial contribu-tions may be made in Tracy's honor to Hospice of Wyandot County or Carey Athletic Boosters.
