Thomas John Griffin

Thomas John Griffin, 68, of Findlay passed away at 5:45 p.m. Monday, July 4, 2022, at the Heritage. Tom was born July 19, 1953, to the late Alfred and F. Lorraine (Peters) Griffin in Findlay. He married Barbara Cupp in 1973, they later divorced and she survives, now Barbara Kodor.

In 1971, Tom graduated from Findlay High School and he attended Hocking College. He worked for Village Green for over 20 years and later retired from the City of Findlay.

He is survived by his daughter, Kim (Alberto T.) Hamilton; son, Mark S. (Amanda L.) Griffin; sister, Bonnie J. (Scott) Curry of Salem, South Carolina; grandchildren, Karson, Adelaide, Jade, Piper, Madeleine, Brandon, and Brookelynn (RJ) Donaldson; great-grandchildren, Oliver and Marcellyn Donaldson; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald J. Griffin.

His hobbies included gun collecting, target shooting, and being outdoors. He loved being with his friends, solving the world's problems. Tom was known for his firm hand shakes. He really enjoyed his vehicles and going for car rides.

Visitation will be Thursday July 7, 2022, at 4-8 p.m. at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, with the rosary being prayed at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday July 8, 2022, at 10 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Downtown Church, 617 West Main Cross St., Findlay, with Father Peter Grodi as celebrant. Burial will be private.
