Teresa Gosche Obituary
Teresa M. Gosche, 93, of Findlay, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at Bridge Hospice Care Center.
Teresa was born in Tiffin to the late George and Rose (Schneider) Mathern. She married Gerald J. Gosche on May 24, 1952, at Our Lady of Consolation in Carey, and he preceded her in death May 28, 2012. Teresa is survived by her children, MaryAnn (Todd Radabaugh) Loach of Findlay, Steve (Jackie) Gosche of Hagerstown, Maryland, Greg (Deb) Gosche of Carey, Jim (Deb) Gosche of Findlay, Jeff (Randy Thomas) Gosche of Richmond, California, Jeremy (Shannon) Gosche of North Augusta, South Carolina; 11 grandchildren, Jerry, Gabe and Justin Gibson, Blair (Justin) Frisco, Nicole Gosche, Jon Gosche, Elizabeth Hahler, Kristopher Gosche, Lindsey (Tony) Bursic, Charlotte and Oliver Gosche; and eight great-grandchildren, Riley, Mike, Mia, Emmie, Scarlett, Kristian, Harrison and Caroline.
Teresa was a 1949 graduate of Carey High School. She worked as a bookkeeper at Houk Hardware in Carey. Teresa was a former member of Our Lady of Consolation in Carey before moving to Findlay and becoming a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. Teresa volunteered with O.L.C Altar Rosary Society and at Blanchard Valley Hospital with Hospital Guild and Thrift Shop. She was an excellent seamstress and cook. More than anything, Teresa loved her family and cherished every moment she spent with them.
Visitation for Teresa will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday, January 20, 2025, at Stombaugh-Batton & Snyder Funeral Home, Carey. Teresa's Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2025,at Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation, 315 Clay St., Carey, Ohio 43316, with the Rev. Tom Merrill, OFM Conv., officiating. Inurnment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Teresa's honor to O.L.C Schools or City Mission, 510 W. Main Cross, Findlay, Ohio 45840.
