Susan M. Stacy

Heaven gained an angel Friday, Oct. 11, 2024. Susan M. Stacy, 82, of Findlay, died at 12:29 a.m. at Bridge Care Center in Findlay.

She was born Nov. 19, 1941, in Findlay, to the late Forest Charles and Ruth Roselyn (Herge) Pressnell. She married Ronald R. Stacy, and he survives.

Also surviving are sons; Greg (Stephanie) Stacy of Cincinnati, Eric (Becky) Stacy of Findlay; daughter, Cheryl Stacy (Teresa Huxhold) of Saugatuck, Michigan; sister, Pat Woolley of Findlay; grandchildren, Adam (Stephanie), Gabe, Christian, Eli (Erin), Emily and Forrest; stepgrandchildren, Brooke Simsa, Brianne Settlemire, Chelsea Inbody, Joshua Settlemire and Daniel (Jacob) Gordon; great-grandchildren, Aria, Sloane and Henry; stepgreat-grandchildren, Rayne, Talan, Jayle, Gunner, Grahm, Gemmi and Baylor.

Susan was an excellent baker, having won Best of Show at the Hancock County Fair for Sugar Creme Pie, Cinnamon Rolls, and Sugar Cookies. She thoroughly enjoyed attending the 1959 Findlay High School Class Reunions. She taught Sunday School at First Presbyterian for many years and worked at Marathon Oil Company. Her greatest joy was being a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was proud and glowed at being a Mom and Grandma, considering that to be the highlight of her life.

The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation for the wonderful care that they received at The Heritage, Blanchard Valley Hospital and Bridge Hospice.

Visitation will be from 11-1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2024, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME in Findlay. Susan's funeral services will be at the conclusion of the visitation at 1 p.m. with Pastor Dan Metzger officiating. Interment will follow at Knollcrest Cemetery and a reception will be after the interment at Findlay Elks Lodge.

Memorials may be given to Hancock County Humane Society.
