Shirley Ann Latta

Shirley Ann Latta, 86, of McComb, passed away at Birchaven Village Tuesday, October 21, 2025. She was born September 4, 1939, in Findlay, to the late Rolla and Anna (Mullins) Miller. On February 1, 1958, she married Melvin D. "Hoss" Latta, who preceded her in death January 31, 2002.

Survivors include her son, Jay Latta of Leipsic; and a daughter, Jodi (Frank) Hazelton of Harrod; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and her brothers, Rolla (LaVern) Miller of Findlay, Donald (Judy) Miller of Ottawa, David (Cathy) Miller of Ottawa, and Steven Miller of Findlay.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; and a son, James Latta.

Shirley was a 1957 graduate of McComb High School and worked for over 70 years in various law offices in Findlay as a legal secretary. She enjoyed reading, embroidery, puzzles and was a member of Northwest Ohio Antique Machinery Association and enjoyed going to many shows throughout the area.

Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Monday, October 27, 2025, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. Funeral service will begi at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Knollcrest Gardens, east of Findlay, with Chaplain Linda Davison officiating.
