Sharon Peavler Obituary
Sharon Elaine Peavler, 77, of McComb, passed away Monday, Dec. 25, 2023, at her residence.
She was born Oct. 29, 1946, in Toledo, the daughter of Lawrence and Vera (Grover) Baker Sr. Sharon married Samuel E. Peavler Sr. on March 2, 1965, and he survives.
After graduating from North Baltimore High School, Sharon attended Tiffin University, graduating with an associate degree. She enjoyed spending time with her family, her dog Sissy, and watching her soap operas.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 58 years, Samuel; children, Samuel E. Peavler Jr. and Scott E. (Chanda) Peavler; two grandchildren, Jessica E. Peavler and Misty D. Peavler; and siblings, Clarence (Pam) Baker, Jim Baker, Dianne (Rich) McClellan, Kathy (Ben) Vanscooder, Candy (David) Greeno, Linda (Paul) Barfell, and Melissa (John) Mettler.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Lawrence Baker Jr., John Baker, and Clayton Baker Sr.; and sisters, Darlene Drager and Elizabeth Jane Baker.
The family is planning to have a celebration of life in the near future.
HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, 419-422-1500, has been entrusted with arrangements.
As a lifelong supporter of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made to St. Jude in Sharon's memory.
