Sharon Kay Packer

Sharon Kay "Blondie" Packer, 70, of Findlay, passed away Friday, Aug. 26, 2022, at Bridge Hospice Care Center.

She was born Dec. 9, 1951, in Findlay, to the late Orval and Mary (Click) Gorman. She married Steven E. Brooker in Dec., 1975, and they divorced. He is deceased. She later married John Packer and he survives.

Also surviving are three children, Steven E. Jr. (Tabitha Ellinwood) Brooker, Steffani (William) Reinhart, and Shanna M. (Mike Fleece) Brooker; nine grandchildren, Ashton R. Brooker, Bryce E. Brooker, Desmin R. Marshall, Isaiah Reinhart, Kadence Reinhart, Wiatt Reinhart, Lux Miller, Alec Brooker, and Allison Fleece; two great-grandchildren, Zann Marshall and Ryker Cole; and two brothers, David Gorman and Steve Gorman.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Larry Gorman; and sister, Judith Cook.

Sharon retired from O.S.S. and also worked in food service and as a bartender throughout her life. She was an active member of VFW Auxiliary and also volunteered at AMVETS and VFW.

A celebration of her life will be 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2, 2022, at CODLREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Online condolences can be shared with the family by visiting coldrencrates.com.
