Sharon Ann Nagy

Sharon Ann Nagy, 78, of Findlay, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023, surrounded by her family.

She was born May 2, 1944, in Alvada, to the late Frank and Violet (Nye) Kaufman. She was a 1962 graduate of Findlay High School. Sharon married Thomas L. Nagy on June 12, 1965, and he preceded her in death July 24, 1994.

She is survived by her sons, Frank (Patty) Nagy and Tim (Erin) Nagy, both of Findlay; seven grandchildren, Dustin Lamon, Deziree (Cody) Crawford, Michael Nagy, Alexis Nagy, Nate Wooden, Kayla Wooden, and Elizabeth Nagy; two great-grandchildren, Carter and Kaisley Crawford; beloved niece and sister at heart, Marsha (Tom) Cramer; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Laverne, Kenny, and Jerry Kaufman; and sisters, Verena Launder and Pauline Robinson.

Sharon and her husband had T & S Enterprises and she was the Deputy Registrar of Hancock County License Bureau for 24 years. She was a life-long member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church where she volunteered at the School for many years. She was also a volunteer at Blanchard Valley Hospital and City Mission. Sharon never met a stranger and loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a great love for basketball, especially college basketball and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. Sharon also loved racing, specifically, dirt track racing. She was also a Zonta member for many years, member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, and earned the order of the Rose.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2023, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME. Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 14, 2023, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 617 W. Main Cross St., Findlay. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Sharon to the City Mission.
