Sharon L. McAdams

Sharon Lynn McAdams, 83, of Findlay, peacefully passed away Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Blanchard Valley Hospital.

She was born in Portage to Kenneth and Thelma (Seymore) Amos November 12, 1941. In September 1959, Sharon married C. Jay McAdams, and he preceded her in death in 2009.

Sharon was a Cub Scout leader and coached softball. She enjoyed growing flowers in her garden, card club, and going to garage sales. She especially loved to go on day trips and travel. Sharon was employed at RCA, which transitioned to GE, then became Harris, and ultimately Intersil. She dedicated 36 years of service to these organizations before retiring.

Sharon is survived by her children, Cynthia (Richard) Grant, Christina (Scott) Schurman, and Craig (Petre) McAdams; grandchildren, Logan (Kendra) Grant, Madison (Kerry) Schwable, Sydney Schurman, Connor (Corinne) Schurman, Jayden (Analee) McAdams, and Olivia McAdams; great-grandchildren, Paxton, Theodore, and Rosalie Grant, and Grant and Emma Schwable; sisters, Chloann Roberts and Diana (Chris) Bacon. Sharon is also survived by her sister-in-law, Doris Shook; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Amos; brother-in-law, James Roberts; and her nephew, Jeffery Cameron.

Friends and family may visit from 11-1 p.m. Friday, June 27, 2025, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500). Sharon's funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. following visitation at the funeral home, with Pastor Jim Klausing officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
