Rosalie H Holman

Rosalie H. Holman, 94, of Fostoria, passed away at 11:50 am Friday June 17, 2022 at Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria.

She was born March 19, 1928 in Perry County, Indiana to the late William Edgar and Mary Ellen (Peter) Holman. She married Eugene V. "Gene" Holman June 9, 1948 at St. Wendelin Catholic Church and he preceded her in death January 24, 2016.

Surviving is a son, Ronald P. (Jane) Holman, Maumee; daughter, Marla (Duane) Boes, Findlay; seven grandchildren, Matt Holman, Nick, Nate, Andy and Jacob Boes, Brita Holman and Ashley Jones; two great-grandchildren, Ryan and Laine Boes; sister-in-law, Catherine Cassidy, Fostoria; and many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Randall "Randy" Holman; sisters, Marjorie K. Cassidy, Connie (Bob) Steinmetz, Bernice (Franklin) Holman, Irene (Don) Holman; and brothers, Mathias (Frances) Cassidy, Norbert (Ruth) Cassidy, Omer (Helen) Cassidy and James Cassidy.

Rosalie was a homemaker and had worked at Ford Motor Co., Fostoria. She was member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church and its Rosary Altar Society. She was a 1946 graduate of Hopewell Loudon High School. She had been an avid gardener and dearly loved caring for her flowers. She enjoyed sewing and needle crafts.

Visitation is Monday June 20, 2022 from 4-7 pm at HOENING & SON FUNERAL HOME 133 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, OH 44830.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am Tuesday at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria with burial following in St. Wendelin Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to St. Wendelin Cemetery Fund, Good Shepherd Home Auxiliary or Charity of the donors' choice.
