Robert Smith Obituary
Robert Smith, 61, of Bloomdale, passed away at 11:53 a.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at Toledo Hospital.
He was born April 5, 1962, in Findlay, to Larry and Susan (Shamp) Smith. He married Vicky (Hutchison) on Feb. 24, 1990, and she survives.
Robert is also survived by his father, Larry Smith; mother, Susan Dupuis; daughters, Shannon (Drew) Marczak of Cygnet, Shari (Mike) Yantiss of Napoleon, Sue (Mike) Zuhlsdorf of Risingsun, and Melissa (Mike Althauser) Smith of North Baltimore; sons, Josh Smith of Bloomdale and Matthew (Sarah McGinnis) Smith of Bloomdale; brother, James (Sandy Weaver) Smith of North Baltimore; sister, Mary Burks of Cygnet; beloved grandchildren, Brian, Lacey, David, Ashley, Brittany, Dakota, Dylan, Brooklyn, Braxton, Alexis, and Jaxon; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Robert was employed with Avient in North Baltimore, where he has worked for over 34 years. He loved riding his Harley-Davidson, hanging out in his garage, watching football, and spending time with his family.
All services will be private.
Arrangements are being handled by SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore.
