Robert Lewis Lau

Robert Lewis Lau, 94, of Findlay passed away at 2:22 p.m. Wednesday June 29, 2022. He was born on October 30, 1927, in Wyandot, Michigan, to the late William J. and Margaret E. (Hoeft) Lau.

Robert is survived by nieces and nephews, Patrick Bloomfield, James Bloomfield, Ruth Ann DeMaggio, Karen Holt, Kimberly Stanczak, Jeff Lau, Stuart Kipling Lau, David Newville, Richard Newville, Dennis Newville, and Sharyn Shute. He was preceded in death by his brother, William A. Lau; sisters, Ruth Gudrodge, Norma Newville, and Virginia Bloomfield; nephew, Michael L. Bloomfield; and niece, Sandra K. Bloomfield.

Robert served in U.S. Navy, and was stationed in Hawaii during WWII. He also served in The Korean War as an electronics specialist. In his free time, Robert enjoyed collecting music.

A time for gathering for Robert will take place on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at Drury Inn and Suites, 820 W Trenton Ave, Findlay.

Burial will take place on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at Huron Valley Cemetery, 27330 W Huron River Dr., Flat Rock, Michigan.

Memorial contributions may be made in Robert's honor to Habitat for Humanity.
