Robert Badertscher Obituary

Robert G. Bob Badertscher

Robert "Bob" G. Badertscher, 86, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025, surrounded by his family, at Mennonite Memorial Home.

Bob was born August 5, 1938, in Bluffton to Edwin and Mae (Murray) Badertscher, who preceded him in death. On April 8, 1961, he married Ann (Zimmerly) Badertscher, who preceded him in death on October 31, 2018.

He was a 1956 graduate of Bluffton High School and was the owner and operator of Badertscher Milk Hauling. He enjoyed cheering for University of Michigan, Detroit Lions, and Detroit Tigers.

He is survived by his two sons, David Badertscher of Bluffton and Michael (Jeanne) Badertscher of Findlay; and one granddaughter, Taylor (Mike) Gibson of Grass Valley, California.

In addition to his parents and his wife, Bob was preceded in death by his siblings, James Badertscher and Harriet Badertscher.

Bob's family would like to share a special thank you to the Schwab and Denecker families for their unending support. They would also like to thank Bridge Homecare and Hospice and Mennonite Memorial Home for their dedicated care.

Following Bob's wishes, there will be no services.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services - Bluffton.
