Richard A. Terry

Richard Allen (Anthony) Terry, 77, of Tiffin, passed away peacefully Monday, Dec. 25, 2023, at his residence.

Richard was born July 8, 1946, in Tiffin, to James and Camilla (DeSantos) Terry. He married Marcia (Feasel) in 1972 in Monroe, Michigan, and she preceded him in death. He then married Melanie Stall and they later divorced.

Richard is survived by his son, Dustin (Amy) Terry of Tiffin; daughter, Briana (Adam) DeLancy of Bloomdale; six grandchildren, Grant and Austin Terry and Alivia, Layla, Ava, and Grady DeLancy; and two sisters, Mary Hill of Tiffin and Bernice Ferguson of Fremont.

Richard was a retired accountant. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Bowling Green University and was an U.S. Army veteran, serving during Vietnam. Richard was an avid golfer and bowler in previous years. He enjoyed going to the gym and taking walks. Richard was a New York Yankees and The Ohio State football fan. He enjoyed watching his grandkids in their activities and was always up for a drink and laughs with family and close friends.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and brother, James Terry Jr.

Richard's memorial service will be 12 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2024, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin. Visitation for family and friends will be 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
