Richard Price Obituary
Richard R. Price, 84, of Forest, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Bridge Hospice Care Center.
He was born Dec. 9, 1939, in Forest, to Lester Robert and Alma Pearl (Yeryar) Price. He married Joyce Sons on Feb. 13, 1957, and she survives in Forest.
Richard is also survived by his children, Debbie Sue (Gary) Brown of Mt. Blanchard, Leona Fite of Forest, and Dick (Gina) Price of Forest; 10 grandchildren, Catherine (Tyson) Borkosky, Chris Deringer, Benjamin (Meredith Leanne) Blankenship, Nancy (Scott) Wilson, Bridget (Kevin) Dixon, Ashley (John) Schreiner, Samantha (Corey) Yaklin, Kayla (Bryan) Golding, Kylie (Kyle) Sloan, and Scott Kin; 22 great-grandchildren, Meghan, Brandi, Derek, Nora, Wesley, Debbie "Doodle," Anna Belle, Lincoln, Tanner, Jaden, Kendall, Benjamin, Maddie Kate, Markus, Trent, Lily "Lil Wolf," Brodey, Paxtyn, Lakelyn, Wyatt, Jacob, and Samantha; four great-great-grandchildren, Hayden, Serena, Ellison, and Olivia; and brother, Thomas (Barbara) Price of Forest.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Ken Fite; grandsons, Trevor Price and Robert Paul Price; granddaughter, Krista Kin; and sisters, Patricia Stiles and Mary Lou Thompson.
Richard worked at UAP/Triumph for 44 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, taking photos of wildlife, and playing and singing gospel music. He was always a humble man and his family was most important to him.
Richard's graveside service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Hueston Cemetery, Forest.
Memorial donations may be made to Forest Jackson Public Library or Bridge Hospice in care of Clark Shields Funeral Home, 301 S. Patterson St., Forest, Ohio, 45843.
