Richard Nickols Obituary
Richard "Butch" Nickols, 77, of North Baltimore, died at 11:55 a.m. Monday, February 16, 2026, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. He was born September 21, 1948, in McComb, to the late Henry and Olive Mae (Henry) Nickols. He married Regena Pennington, April 1, 1973, and she survives.
Richard is also survived by his son, Richard "Nick" Nickols of Cygnet; daughters, Rebecca (Todd) Goeller of Sycamore and Sonya (Jay) Zielinski of Custar; brother, Bob Nickols of Rudolph; sisters, Sandy McCartney of North Baltimore and Connie Casdorph of Rudolph; 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Henry "June" Nickols and sisters, Helen Barringer and Carol Mays.
Richard retired from S&D Application in Wayne.
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Thursday, February 19, 2026, at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore.
Memorial contribu-tions may be made to Smith-Crates Funeral Home, 515 N. Main Street, N. Baltimore, OH 45872.
