Died: November 6, 2025 in Naples, FL
Richard (Dick) W Doherty passed away at his home surrounded by his family on November 6, 2025. Dick was born February 6, 1949 to the late Richard W Doherty and Virginia M Doherty. He was a 1967 McHenry Community High School graduate. After honorably serving in the United States Army he continued living in the McHenry/Crystal Lake area with a successful New Home Sales Career and as Co-Owner of Crystal Lake Travel Agency. In 2016 Dick and his wife Pamela (Myers) Doherty became full time Naples, Florida residents where they shared a beautiful home, life and friendships which he documented and shared with all. Along with his wife, Dick is survived by his beloved son Todd (Nicole) Doherty, beloved daughter Tara (Will) Doherty, cherished grandchildren Kaitlin Doherty and Connor Doherty and dear stepdaughter Jennifer Myers Kendall. Dick also leaves behind a sister Shirley (Tom) Roach and special nieces, nephews and cousins. Along with his parents and grandparents Dick was preceded in death by his brother Kevin Doherty, sister Terri Beth Doherty, stepson Thomas Myers and an extended family of Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Donations made be made in his name to AvowHospice Foundation, 1223 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples. FL 34105.

Enjoyed the many years of knowing both you & Dick as members of Crystal Lake CC. and then as neighbors on Plantain Court, Hopefully Dick didn't suffer, but knowing now he his in the the hands of our Lord, Jesus Christ, has brought some comfort, Dick was a wonderful friend,.
