I knew Ray from my and my father's flying experiences in Executive Airport. I got away from flying for a long period of time, and later flew an AirCam I hangered at the North Hangers where I would see Ray working daily on an old Bonanza he had a couple of rows over from my plane. He always had a smile on his face and you could tell he was deep in a labor of love. He was lucky to have such a consuming hobby and friends to share it with.
