Patricia Diane Tong
Patricia Diane Tong was called "Home" by her Lord and Savior Sept. 12, 2024. She was born on May 3, 1942, in Findlay to Dahl and Elizabeth (Betty Bellinger) Predmore. She was married to Rex Tong who proceeded her in death. She and Rex were blessed with twin sons, Rob (Michelle Gessner) and Steve (Ann), who were the joys of her life. She is also survived by her four beautiful grandchildren, Anthony, Alexandria, Joshua, and Sarah, and two great-grandchildren, Rowan and Rhett. She is also survived by her nieces Amy Wilson, Eileen Witter, Jamie Yob and Katherine Predmore and nephews Ronnie and Reid Tong and a great nephew, Avery. She was proceeded in death by her beloved brother, Phil Predmore.
Patricia graduated from Findlay High School in 1960 and attended Findlay College for one year. She was a former member of both the Ohio and the American Quarter Horse Associations. She bred registered Quarter Horses for many years. She was a former member of the Findlay Mother of Twins Club.
She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Findlay. She had served as a Stephen Minister, was a member of Hope Circle, and The Thursday Night Bible Study, TGIS Sunday School Class and the Fellowship and Recreation Team of the Church. She also had been a participant in The Catholic/Lutheran Dialogue Group. While a snowbird in Arizona she attended Shepherd of the Desert Lutheran Church in Sun City, Arizona.
She was previously a member of Howard United Methodist Church in Findlay for many years. She had served on the Administrative Council, Evangelism Team, and the Family/Adult Coordinator of the Church. She was a member of the Pyramid Sunday School Class and taught a Spanish Class at the Church. She was a part of the visitation of the "homebound" members of the Church and spent a lot of time visiting those who were either hospitalized or in nursing homes. She also was a Eucharistic Minister while still at Howard Methodist Church and she felt both honored and humbled to serve Holy Communion to those members who were no longer able attend church.
At her request there will not be a service. Memorials can be made to Hospice. Online condolences may be expressed at
