Pamela L. Johnson
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pamela Lore Johnson on Saturday, Dec. 31, 2022.
Pam was born Oct. 29, 1959, to the late Rosemari (Kitchen) Jennings-Lehr and Forrest Roscoe Jennings while the family was stationed in Oahu, Hawaii. She served as dependable and loving big sister to Tamara Douthitt of Findlay, and sister-in-law to Shelly (Jim) Johnson-Fox and Kim Cooper.
Pam lived in California for the first part of her life before moving to Ohio where she attended elementary at Findlay City Schools. Her love and appreciation for all things California was instilled in her by her mother and Pam made a point to visit the Los Angeles area frequently throughout the years. She enjoyed traveling the local beaches, rummaging through antique shops, and finding the best taco trucks the area has to offer.
Pam graduated from Arcadia High School in 1977 where she met her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Guy Johnson. Pam and Guy got married Aug. 29, 1987. From their annual hog roast parties to their midlife trip across the country in the motorhome, the two were always planning their next greatest adventure. Pam was known for her laid back personality and unconditional love for her family and friends.
Pam and Guy went on to have three children, Monica of Findlay, Brittany (Kevin) of Columbus, and Gabriel of Arcadia. Pam is a cherished Grammy to four beautiful grandchildren, Lyla, Grant, Jack, and Theo. She was also the beloved aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews who adored her care-free and fun presence.
After high school, Pam started her career as an Administrative Assistant at Hancock County Job and Family Services where she worked until she retired in 2010. In her retirement, she spent much of her time making jewelry, attending craft shows, camping, and gardening.
